SOOO.... Check out my girl Rihanna paying tribute to Lionel Richie, wearing a Marc Jacobs couture gown-- with a reported $1 MILLION in diamonds and gems -- and Marc Jacobs pointed sneaker heels. Sneaker heels?? Sounds like a grand detour from the expected ritzy heels that could compliment this sheer gown... but Rihanna CAN pull it off. 

I wonder what she will wear for the 2016 Grammys... Let's stay tuned for that...

Browsing fashion sites, I catch John Legend's look here. I think that this should be every man's go-to. Doesn't have to be this BALMAIN jacket (retails for appx $5,000) or Balenciaga sneakers (appx $600), but if you guys fit the silhouette, then you're good. Which reminds me, I need to pick up to midrise leather sneakers and a thigh-length spring military jacket :-)

Searching through various sites to find some fashion inspiration or hit and misses, I spot Justin Bieber (photo'ed in Hollywood) on Upscale Hype in this sort of... pardon me... 'GIRL ROCKER' type of look here. The best way I can describe it. Justin wears a Nic Fouquet suede fedora hat, Fear Of God L.A. striped tank, BALMAIN jeans, and Saint Laurent bandanna shoes.

It looks executed in a sort-of not-so-executed way, as if these items were found laying around in Justin's bedroom and he's just going to the corner store for some eggs. Maybe that's the beauty in STYLE sometimes.

If you're a sports lover or just a lover of the basketball or baseball mitt, you will sure love this. Common Projects put out a rich-looking, butter soft tan vintage hightop sneaker that shows so much refinement that it look like it can be worn with a suit. It retails for $495.

I'm indifferent on how the sneakers look, though. I like studs on outfits, but the sneakers don't quite do it for me, especially on WALE...

Saw these sneakers of Upscale Hype, and was just like... 'I gotta have those, well in a cheaper version.' These 'Lexis' sneakers, by Pierre Balmain, retail for $735 and feature a patent leather cap toe, suede leather, gold zip inserts, wax laces, and loads of leather on the insole.

So interesting to see a moving photo shoot (multiple pics together to make moving images). By the way, Tracee Ellis Ross is firing up the BET network with her re-runs of 'Girlfriends' and her new show 'Reed Between the Lines'. Now she's doing more in this photo shoot for Uptown Magazine.

Tracee is seen wearing these nice and short coveralls with Isabel Marant sneakers (has a concealed pump inside). She also sports this natural but gorgeously-styled, thick red hair; it's messy, funny, just a ball of fun!

Jay had on his usual street great with Air Jordan sneakers (what I like about his look is that it's STREET, but never TOO street).

Kanye West In London Fashion Week; Wears Balenciaga Sneaker/White Jacket Combo... BOSS!

Kanye West's ensemble was spot-on.

White blazer, white snit sweater, bleached and distressed jeans, and white Balenciaga sneakers for $545. Say no more... Kanye West, in my eyes, is one of the best-dressed men I've seen thus far.

Justin Bieber is a guy of style, like a skater boy meets rapper kind of style. Justin's cerulean blue biker jacket is by MCM x TI$A and it has a belt at the waist, studs on the lapel, with classic logo all over the jacket. There's also the clever pick of his matching Balenciaga sneakers for $595.

Justin was at the 2012 NRJ Awards.

What's right about the outfit is the balance that is displayed. There is not CERULEAN BLUE throughout; the bold jacket and bold color in the sneakers mean that every other clothing item should be toned down to prevent from looking clown-ish.

YMCMB's TYGA In Dior Homme and Louboutin Sneakers; at B-Ball Game w/ Blac Chyna

Now, on my blog I don't blog about music artists, but I definitely blog about their style choices. Check out TYGA's crazy wear... crazy GOOD wear. He was spotted holding hands with Blac Chyna at the L.A. Clippers game. Everything that he wore was well-executed according to color and coordination.

The snakeskin jacket by Dior Homme is for $2,000, the multi-colored, multi-textured Christian Louboutin No Limit Print Pony sneakers retails for about $1,700; it's really cool and wacky with its neon piping, sharp gold studs, embellished crystals, and cork material at the heels.

 But we all know that this look can be bought for cheap and look just as good; for those of you that don't think so... just read below.

I could pick up a vintage jacket at the local thrift store or H&M, grab some cargo pants on sale from Macy's or Target, and cop me some multi-colored sneakers from Jimmy Jazz, or a local sneaker boutique for around $100 or less. So instead of spending $1,000, $2,000, or $5,000 on a GREAT LOOK, all of that can be had for or less than $200.

Just make sure that your SHOE GAME is on-point, on-the-dot, spot-on.

Lil Wayne Launches SKATER BOY WEAR 'Trukfit' Clothing Line!

Why is everybody and their mama coming out with a clothing line??

Although I may be coming out with a tie collection this Spring 2012, I don't want it to be cliche but actually make my collection a necessity and bright idea in the fashion world.

Anyway, Lil' Wayne had launched his own clothing line called TRUKFIT (The Reason You Kill For It-- clever so-called label) and it based entirely off Lil' Wayne's style, which includes bright/flourescent colors, camouflage shorts and socks, and more WICKY-WACKY items.

Just because I posted about this doesn't mean I take in whole-hearted interest; it's my job as blogger to inform and just share what I found out in the fashion world. I wonder if Lil' Wayne will take this seriously because to me, clothes THIS WACKY (as a DEBUT to the public) may be an insult to the fashion industry. It looks like regular SKATE-BOY wear. *Shrug* We'll see where this goes as far as mass-production like RocaWear, Sean John, and others.

BUT... according to POP CULTURE standards, I project this to sell WELL to some degree, anyway.

Just don't design LEOPARD LEGGINGS.
