DRAKE Sports A Slight Tan (How?) In Rainy London, But Looks BOSS In His Whole Look!

I don't know if it was nighttime in London that Drake may have appeared slightly darker (well, everyone is darker in the DARK) but I definitely believe he has a slight tan. And his whole look was great as well. Tan windbreaker with gray scarf (skull & bones) that complements the light denim jeans and Balenciaga sneakers for $545.

More angles of Drake and his perfectly subtle--yet still makes a statement--outfit; Man, I would rock that outfit...

That scarf is probably by Alexander McQueen.

The Pinnacle of Icy, Edgy, and Color: CHANEL, ALEXANDER McQUEEN, COMME DES GARCON Winter 2012-13 Shows

I'm loving these FALL/WINTER 2012 runway shows. So ICY, EDGY, and CREATIVE!! What's not to love? Each of these collections go in their own direction, but seem to become cohesive in the language of ICY (models with 'stone' expressions and background design), EDGY (garment design from Chanel and Comme des Garcon), and CREATIVE (Alexander McQueen's 'fluffiness').

Check out these videos from Chanel, Alexander McQueen, and Comme des Garcon!!

#BeyonceIsBack After Giving Birth To Blue Ivy, Seen In Curve-Flattering Red Dress

Beyonce is back in the spotlight after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy Carter. In the meantime, no more stories about Bey's alleged fake baby bump and all that, just be excited that Bey and Jay are now parents.

Anyways, Beyonce sure rocked her first night out in support of Jay-Z (who sang 'Glory' in honor of Baby Blue). She wore an Alice Temperly dress, Alexander McQueen sequined clutch, and jeweled and embroidered Christian Louboutin stilettos. Look closely at the BOLD BLUE nails below; I know it's to honor her new baby.

MediaTakeout Misses The Mark-- These Exotic, Strange Stilettos Are Actually Nice!!

Many people on MediaTakeout was talking about these Alexander McQueen Floral Wedge T-Strap sandals. It has a solid construction to it and plus has solid gold on it. MediaTakeout.com called it ATROCIOUS; they apparently don't know haute couture. And... no one can tell me any different, unless you have HIGHER fashion sense than me, these shoes are HOTT and it glorifies any ladies' feet and beautiful legs.

It's BEAUTIFUL!! Women, imagine walking on real gold leaves, QUEEN OF YOUR OWN EMPIRE.
It's has a price fit for a queen, too:

$3,500
Yikes... it's nice but we ain't crazy (guys to buy these shoes for their honey and women to buy these shoes. But hey... there's somebody out there who will...)

It would look good... just remember to lotion up those feet.

First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA Slammed by American designers for wearing European gown

Confident: The silk organza may have been picked because of the symbolism of red in Chinese culture, but did not endear her to some critics

A couple days ago, I posted about first lady Michelle Obama's striking red gown made by Alexander McQueen. And while it was such a fine dress that she wore to the China state dinner held at the White House, she had some American designers reeling at the dress. There were many complaints about Michelle not representing the U.S. at such an important dinner.

Council of Fashion Designers president Diane von Furstenberg (also a designer) and Oscar de la Renta complained to Women's Wear Daily that 'Our First Lady Michelle Obama has been wonderful at promoting our designers, so we were surprised and a little disappointed not to be represented for this major state dinner.' (Furstenberg) and 'American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?' (de la Renta)

While my understanding is that these well-known and respected designers wanted good representation, it is not MICHELLE OBAMA's job to be partial to certain designers for a reason. She can wear what she wants because it's pretty, makes a statement, and turns heads at a state dinner. She simply wanted to match the decor of the dinner, since China was red. and by the way, I think both designers forgot that Michelle may be paying homage to the late Alexander McQueen (that's what the evening gown is) and that both designers who complained were originally Europeans anyway..... SMH.

PUMA x ALEXANDER McQUEEN Sneakers for 2011 As Tribute To Late McQueen

Alexander McQueen for Puma Spring 2011

PUMA is doing a collaboration with Alexander McQueen's company for 2011. His sudden passing rocked the fashion world and put the Puma collabo on hold for much of 2010.. until now. The style of the shoes above, which was expected to be bright and captivating to reflect McQueen's mood or even Puma itself, has taken a very simplistic and somber tone, just to get into the true detail of the shoes.

If you look closely at the front and back soles, they have a triangular detail to reflect the high-octane mood of Alexander McQueen. There is also the satiny fabric detailing on the sides of the shoes with simple Alexander McQueen marks on the side and on a silver tongue tag.

Even though it's simple, I can see the art behind it; it's like a memorial, a piece of art to make you think. These will be on shelves early 2011.
See more pics below:

Do you like? Just think on it and take in the art of it.
