Spotted at the TAO Event was Cassie, Nicki Minaj, and Amber Rose looking flyy at Nicki's birthday bash. You know when they go out, they have to go ALL OUT.

Popular Item For Women This Season: JEGGINGS!!

I first saw these in a commercial on TV, leggings that look like jeans. At first actually, I thought these were a joke...until.... women everywhere started wearing them.

It's a complete surprise to me... ladies...you like these? REALLY??  I'll have to say that you do because in the category of denim jeans, which is a billion-dollar item, and "jeggings," which are fairly new, has already commanded $178 million in sales. These jeggings are described as stylish yet extremely comfortable and stretchy, and are often mistaken for real denim jeans. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Pink, and one of the gospel singers of Mary Mary was spotted wearing them.

These can be found in department stores from Wal-Mart to Macy's nationwide and probably internationally; designer labels have caught on to this hott new trend and have released their own version of jeggings, too; prices range from $10 or cheaper to just over $100.



These jeggings have been around for a while, apparently, but why is it that when a celeb wears it, it becomes the hottest thing?? *LoL*

Queen Bey, Queen Bey, Queen Bey... JAY-Z was sure glad to "put a ring on it." Beyonce is known to be frugal and is a 'make-sense' shopper and spends far less than she would have when we're talking about the ratio of wealth/income to cash burn rate.

But heyyyy.... it was JAY-Z's birthday, so why not shell out a lil' bit of cash?

Beyonce knocked the haters dead when she was spotted with her husband, carrying a custom spiked Hermes Birkin bag valued at $30,000!! To this day, I'm still trying to figure out why that bag costs so much money. I understand its exclusivity and painstaking craftsmanship, but WOOOOWWWW....

She also reportedly bought JAY-Z a brand-new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport valued at more than $2 million dollars! Never heard of it?? Well it is the car to see and to be seen in. It comes ready with a 1001-hp, 8.0 Liter, quad-turbo W-16 engine, butter-smooth seats, vault-like structure, and a humble-looking attitude.

This car simply means BOSS MONEY and that "you have arrived." only the best of the best should have it; I'm not feeling the latest rappers copping these Bugatti's just to show off; it cheapens the image of the car, which is uber-exclusive, uber-sporty, yet very NOBLE, meaning a person of Jay-Z's status and the like (music, fashion, Wall Street, etc.) should have this kind of car.

CHANEL Makes Men's Boots!!!! U Must See!!!

CHANEL rarely makes items for men, and when they do, it's a HEADLINER of a story. These are premium leather and snakeskin boots priced at $1400.

As predicted, whereas a famous couture label introduces an outstanding women's line, they later come out with a subpar men's line (i.e. BALMAIN). You guys know where I'm going with this...

The top half of the boot looks great, but what's up with the lower half? The toe of the boot looks puffy, odd, and like it belongs in Payless Shoe Source (not dogging the store though). I think the toe should be more slim and streamlined like Gucci or Salvatore Ferragamo, don't you think?

Hopefully the next boots that Chanel come out with will be even more stylish than the ones they have now.

Kanye West, again, is in one of my posts. I comment on him often not for his music--my niche is fashion--but for his style sense. It's so cool, he's in another realm in terms of thinking about style, how to make pieces flow and pop, draw attention at the same time. It is simply ART in fashion form. I just like it.

West is wearing a Tom Ford dinner jacket and slippers, Dior Homme wax jeans, and jewelry by Erickson Beamon.

T.I. is once again in prison (I really hope that he comes to grips with this whole prison thing and straightens up), but hey, the so-called "King of the South" doesn't head there in rags. T.I. filmed several music videos for his album, and in a few of those videos, he was wearing Louis Vuitton Possession Pilote Sunglasses ($560) in black. You like?? Of course you must; these are hott!

Angelina Jolie Changes The Game With Versace "Sweater Gown"

I'm sure you've heard about it by now, but Angelina Jolie was looking very elegant yet comfortable in an Angora material Versace gown at "The Tourist" movie premiere in New York. She was looking hott in the dress with a plunging neckline and a dangerous slit to show her slender legs.

Brad pitt grabbed her butt. Hey, he loves his girl, or the Angora material is soft LOL. She really wowed a whole crowd of people with her elegance and sexy "Tomb Raider-esque" looks tied into one.

"I don't really think I'm THAT interesting," Jolie said in a recent interview. ARE YOU KIDDING, ANGIE? Really? Ever since you came out with "Tomb Raider," you have had men's attention. See more pics below...

 

 

This is very different. A "sweater gown" is a bold move on the red carpet, but Jolie pulls it off exceptionally well.

It's nice to see an urban label do a flawless collaboration with one of the world's most dedicated fan bases when it comes to clothes, specifically denim: LEVI's. Levi's has been selling millions of its popular and sturdy jeans that come in many different styles.

Now here comes label SWAGGER, which made Levi 505 jeans in a heavily distressed indigo selvedge style that gives it a very broken-in, comfortable looking, and course, swagger style jeans. These jeans will be available in SWAGGER stores starting December 11.

AMBER ROSE has really made herself a name around the media world as a sexy symbol and most notably "Kanye's girlfriend"---well, ex-girlfriend now. I was on UpscaleHype and saw this pic of her dressing real casual. Do you like her look? Especially the plaid glasses? The glasses are vinatge IDC 92 Sunglasses.

She was real casual... stepping out and into the Lambo... talk about FABOLOUS *hint-hint* casual....

BIG SEAN's Effortless Style...

It truly takes BIG talent to pull off a look so simple. The reason being is that some people just try way too hard to be stylish and casual that it ends up being... on my 'FASH, CRASH AND BURN' posts.

Check out Detroit native rapper BIG SEAN who pulls off a simple look such as a white tee, dark denim jeans, simple sneakers, and a "man bag" to style. Keep in mind fellas, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH A MAN BAG... it just depends on whether it looks more like a lady's purse is when it's a problem.

This rapper also sports his simple jewelry (chain), YSL pocket tee with a red handkerchief in the pocket, TI$A sneakers ($125) and an MCM duffle bag.

It just don't take much to look good. If it's hard for you, you should study this...

Hello everyone, usually I post all things fashion, but once in a while I will reflect back on current/circulating music videos or past music videos that speak on a positive note and image, because that's what I'm about. Also, there may be a video in which I like the clothes that are worn by the artist.

Speaking of Mary J. Blige (this is one of the few people who can "sang"), I sense a trend in women doing "BIG HAIR" or updos in which hair is piled on top of the head in a very fashionable and regal manner. Michelle Obama is indeed a woman of style. She rarely disappoints as she makes other women copy her style. Her style is often describes as like to Jackie O and is very regal and looks effortless.

Will.i.am In Rick Owens Coat (Not For Everyone..)

Hello everyone, I took a little hiatus. I have been posting EVERY SINGLE DAY but I skipped out just one day because I had so much to do, including a fashion show in metro Detroit that I participated in. The show went VERY WELL. I modeled a very nice denim suit (jeans and jacket) with a "dark orange" shirt and brown crocodile boots. Then the next time I came out, I wore a mink-and-lamb coat valued at more than $7,000. So nice... I'll post pictures soon.

Anyway, the picture of Will.i.am above shows his I guess trademark haircut and he's wearing a Rick Owens coat. The fit is... interesting. The front is not bad, but the sides don't seem to fit too well; it makes him look fat...or is he really "wide?" It's like a wrap-around coat but still... Do you like it?
