Here is the beauty of the "Moment 4 Life" music video by Nicki Minaj and Drake. I've placed a video for your viewing pleasure. But first, I want to point out what's in this picture (I love shoes), Nicki Minaj's Rock & Republic Saffron platform peeptoe boots for $395. They're very ROCK indeed. Covered in gold studs, accompanied with the equally ROCk-ish yet elegant dress, Nicki would sure love that moment for life.

Bringing this day to a close, I want to put out pictures of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz lookin' mighty sharp at the basketball game. I have to say that this was an astounding caliber of swag. TIMBERLANDS Still Hott w/ Everyone Including Celebs (All in the same day)

Hello everyone, I'm doing a fly-by on this post. I found these pics on UpscaleHype and it features actors wearing Timberlands all on the same day (at Sundance Film Festival 2011). The actors seen were Elijah Wood, Shar Jackson, Jesse Williams, Jermaine Dupri, Adrian Grenier, and more.

Timberlands are indeed very comfortable, warm, and stylish boots for any occasion. If you own a pair (like me), you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Fountain of Youth: TERRENCE HOWARD + Men's Hygiene Products

Would you believe that actor TERRENCE HOWARD is 41 years old with a face like that?? Talk about fountain of youth. It's not always in the genes, as some people say. It's in the way one individual takes care of his body.

I would like to know what Howard uses. Some guys use expensive exfoliators and cleansers for their face and body, but there are other products that are inexpensive and perform just as good or BETTER.

For affordable men's hygiene products, here are some of the few of many that I would suggest (and some that I use):

For general skin types:

• LEVER 2000 Bar Soap 
• Old Spice Red Zone Collection (preferably SWAGGER scent)
• AXE Body Wash (preferably MUSIC and DARK TEMPTATION scent)
• Dial for Men Soap Body Wash
• BATH & BODY WORKS Men's Collection- JAIDEN's Pick*
• Similar type of "generic" product

WHITE RAIN is popular among African-American men (other races too), but it's not the right product because it dries out skin. I found that out the HARD WAY.

For sensitive skin, or the "preferred":

• YARDLEY Bar Soap (most inexpensive and scentful)- JAIDEN's Pick*
• Ilor Soap (African-American men)
• Softsoap Coconut Scrub Body Wash
• Dove for Men Body Wash

Guys everywhere have their own preference of lotions, so I really won't get on that subject, but the first "layer of hygiene," SOAP, is crucial.

BET's "The Game" Reportedly 'The Best Move The Network Ever Made'

After a mixed feeling about BET's 'The Game' premiere episode on January 11, 2011, people have warmed up to it, mainly because the episodes are getting BETTER! The popular black show opened to 7.7 MILLION VIEWERS and the week after drew 6 MILLION VIEWERS, retaining a good portion of followers. The ratings were -- guess what -- HEAD 2 HEAD with Jersey Shore!!

I was looking on YBF when I found these news. Industry analyst Marc Berman talked about the move that BET took to bring 'THE GAME' back. Personally, what BET did was score A MAJOR TOUCHDOWN with this move; it's like winning the Superbowl!

"...one of the smartest moves I've ever seen a network do. The advantage [BET] had was that people were familiar with the show.  And BET has a niche audience and caters to the African-American community -- and that was the audience watching The CW sitcoms."

"When we started to think about the marketing campaign behind 'The Game,' it made sense to give the biggest scripted launch on our network the biggest overall platform on our network, which is the 'BET Awards.  We started with a teaser spot with the cast of 'The Game' during the 'BET Awards' and then began to leverage every major program to deliver the message about the return of 'The Game' -- from 'Black Girls Rock!' to the 'Soul Train Awards."

Berman [she] continued,

"In addition to that, we did the traditional off-channel tactics such as billboards, bus buys and radio spots. We also did a fantastic job of leveraging the show's fan base on social media sites."

She sure said it best...

It's been nearly a year since the "Teach Me How To Dougie" music video has been out. This dance has been and continues to be popular among urban groups nationwide in more ways than one.

This video was released in late last year and it was produced by Billboard Magazine. Millions of people have viewed this video, and if you have already viewed the video of the CALI SWAG DISTRICT teaching the nation how to dougie, it doesn't hurt to watch the video again; after all, I watched it 4 times already..

Who Wore It Best-- Eva Marcelle or Kelis?? You will already know....

Both women, supermodel Eva Marcelle and singer Kelis, wore the same dress. Eva wore this a few months ago, and Kelis wore hers recently.

Again, the whole look for the fall and winter season is muted, sophisicated, NOTICEABLE, but never over-the-top.

Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Runway Video

The look for this fall and winter season is about to take a turn into the field of MINIMALISTIC and pre-1950s era. The men's clothes for GIORGIO ARMANI allows a man to be ultra-suave and cool, allowing him to "make the clothes," not the clothes making him. But when the clothes are muted/minimalistics, the right accessories (jewelry, watches, etc.) are KEY.  A man cannot go wrong with a leather wristband watch with an additional leather wristband (preferably braided) and brown.

These revised 2011 Louis Vuitton Acapulco sneakers got mixed reviews; some people said 'yea' and some people said 'nay'. But for me, EVERYTHING that I picked, whether a collection may be good or bad, I always pick out the best of it. You'll like it. TRUST ME. Oh nah, nah, What's my name? JAIDEN.

DIEMME "Hiking Sneakers" for Spring 2011; What a HYBRID

Do you like 'em??

These are Diemme hiking sneakers made for fashion....but definitely made for hiking or the rugged outdoors, as well. Many shoe companies are putting ork in on producing hybrids, that is, blending design made normally for rugged landscapes with fr-fr-frresh designs seen on sneakerheads who wear hott sneakers. I think these could sell pretty well. I like 'em with a nice pair of my favorite denim jeans.

Well last nite around 2:00 am, I was scouring around looking for fashion bloggers when I came across BRYAN BOY. Although I may be late, but I want to address that Bryan Boy's blog http://bryanboy.com/ is exactly the direction I want my blog to go in (with my style, of course.)

He must be getting that good money because he travels, wears expensive clothes from Lanvin to Hermes to Burberry and back, and has designers commending him on his work (yes, A-list designers!!)

Anyway, I found him on his website wearing these sweet Karen Walker "Butler" sunglasses. Looks nice, don't they?

Off-Color: WHAT THE??? DRAKE Clones and Hood-ratchedness! HOT MESS!

"Common sense" has just gone out the window on this one. Fashion is EVERYTHING. This is FASHION FAIL... except for the Drake clones (that is funny).

I don't like SCOTT DISICK, but I like his new Lamborghini Murcielago!

*In "TASHA" from The Game speak* Now what now?!* I'm usually not one to get into questions like this but what does Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's fiancee, do to get a $400,000 supercar-- start fights with bartenders on TV (Kardashian shows)?? On a sidenote, the Murcielago could be rented; check the license plate.

Anyway, he was seen shopping around LA before surprising some people, stepping into this car. The Lamborghini Murcielago has a locomotive-like V12 engine and 6-speed sequential transmission. Talk about RIPPIN' THE ROADS UP!!

Hey y'all...It's a fresh, new day and a chance to look forward to a great, healthy, and prosperous day no matter the weather or circumstance, the same way fashion designers look toward the coming seasons and creating an excellent line.

Now, we see fashion around us all the time. It doesn't have to apply to just clothes. It's in architecture. It's in the design of a concept car. It's in even the ergonomic feel of a pen. Fashion invokes a feeling, a fluttering, primitive sense of euphoria when a new design is first spotted. The eyes are drawn to the way it accentuates the body (for both men & women). Fashion captivates...from the 'fashion connoisseur' sitting front-row at an exclusive fashion show in Paris, to the young urban guy checking out some flyy kicks in Detroit. 

Fashion is the unspoked language that draws people together in like interest, even the busiest celebrities. Now I don't need to say a whole lot about what celebs do when it comes to fashion. They OOZE it. It's an attention-getter. It's got to be EXPENSIVE or EXCLUSIVE. It's gotta make people want it. It's gotta be full of swag, timelessness, whatever the celeb is looking for.

So she released her S&M cover above, and while I'm looking at it, I hope the photo shoot she had for all those pictures for the 'LOUD' album was dirt cheap; Love RiRi but this is a $5 picure taken from a shaky camera phone.

Fan-Favorite WILLOW SMITH Gearing Up For Jungle-Like Music Video

WILLOW SMITH's presence has been noticed and embraced from coast to coast with the revolutionary "Whip My Hair," a fun-loving song that even have grown men trying to find something long around the house and then whipping it around on their heads (REALLY?! Yup.. just see the YouTube video below:

But anyway, PR people indicate that Willow's next song may be called "21st Century Girl" or something of that nature. Meanwhile, look at her get-up as I found pics on Rap-up.com . She got the almost-DOOKIE braids swept back with this nice, "fire-looking," exciting-slash-elegant gown for the video shoot. She was performing while mommy JADA PINKETT-SMITH was close by.

Umm.. Willow's.... are those pajamas?? Well, we'll just wait for the video.

I'm anticipating the video already. Let's see what cute Willow got next....

A Crazy-Fashionable NICKI MINAJ & Crew Gets in Trouble w/ Buckingham Palace!

As Nicki Minaj continues her promo before her "Pink Friday" tour and doing promos in London (before heading back to NYC for an SNL performance, she apparently got into a lil' trouble with Buckingham Palace because she and her crew wanted to get a picture by the palace, and the Buckingham police wasn't having that mess.. especially when the NICKI-VAN stopped near the middle of the road!!

But hey, she calmly complied, colors and all (she sure looked fashionable with the jacket and Rihanna "Rated R" pants, and LOLLIPOP shoes *LoL*), as she stepped back into her NICKI-VAN as her London press trip was drawing near to a close. Check out more pics of our "Right Thru Me" rapper having fun in the UK.

BARBIES, BIRTHDAYS, and LEGENDS: A Weekend Fairy Tale

Hey y'all, I'm just doing a fly-by since I saw some great pics on YBF. A lot of things happened this weekend in the celeb/fashion world. Birthdays, promos, and fun, fun, fun were the things of the night. The above picture was NICKI MINAJ "Barbie" in all black with a blonde wig (love the comedic expression; that IS how Barbie looks anyway).



Next is Chad Ochocinco and Trey Songz at Ochocinco's birthday party. All the stars were out to this one, even the "I DID NOT HAVE S..." --Ahem--- former president BILL CLINTON.

And for some of you "young at heart" fans, DIAHANN CARROLL was honored as a legendary actress along with Cloris Leachman (the grandma from "Malcolm in the Middle")in the 2011 Academy Hall of Fame.

A nice way to end the weekend...
