Excerpt from Fashion Bomb Daily: The Best Gowns At 2012 MET GALA!

Who looked BEST?

This (pic) is an excerpt from Fashion Bomb Daily, via the 2012 Met Institute of Art Costume Gala. Many celebs came out to showcase some of their best look, often seen photographed with the designer of the gown. Now, I've posted four pics above of Paula Patton, Solange Knowles, Rihanna, and Beyonce, and I'm going to grade each of them.

First is Paula; she's every bit sweet and flowery with her personality, smile, and that stunning iridescent pink dress by Vera Wang. She gets an A- for that.

Next is Solange; she's in a class all by herself with her diva-like, Diana Ross hair with her sophisicated yellow dress by Rachel Roy. She gets a B for that.

Rihanna is next; WHAAAAAT HAPPENED BABY??! The dress, by Tom Ford, is cool with it's croc print, but the cut is boring even by Rihanna's standards... and the hair?? She gets a C- for that.

Beyonce? Gown by Ty Hunter. BEY? A.

Paula Patton in NYC in All-Black, Wearing Chanel Hightop Sneakers

Paula Patton was in NYC looking every bit her beautiful self. She is one of several celebs who can morph their looks anywhere from high-fashion to dressed down, as she looked in this picture. Even though she was dressed down, her 'labels' were not; She wore a Goyard totem bag, leather leggings, and Chanel high-top sneakers, a fancy re-take on the popular Converse 'Chuck Taylor' sneakers.

HOTT LOOK-- even more so in black.

I've got to say that this is one great look on J-Lo. It's very versatile and can be easily played into warm weather, a day off, a sensual/business casual look (even though I said Business, it probably isn't what you should wear to work, ladies), or an event (upscale).

Hey readers, check out this post from Fashion Bomb Daily, one of my favorite fashion websites, and see what FBD had to say about Rihanna's new 'do. I think it's pretty cool but don't know what to expect; of course, she's always changin' it up....just when I was getting used to the RED HAIR.

RANDOM FASHIONISTA GIRL Has ILLEST Shoe Game I've Seen All Month!

This girl above is no music artist or major celebrity, but she could very well pass off, especially for her electric style and those color-blocking BOOTS she's wearing. 'Iris from Philadelphia' was found on Fashion Bomb Daily as bombshell of the day, and I can see why.

The boots are Iris's own creation/customization... HMMM... it should make its way into a boutique because I think the ladies would love 'em, and the guys' temperature will go HOT on a COLD day when they see their girl wearing these boots.

Can't find the boots? Visit your local CRAZIEST and outlandish shoe shop; it's more than likely you would find color-blocking boots like these.
