How I Would Style MICHAEL B. JORDAN For A High Fashion Photo Shoot

Many of us know that Michael B. Jordan either has an eye for fashion or his stylist (s) know what exactly will make him look good for the magazines, red carpet, wherever.

Well... I've taken on the honorary role of 'hypothetically' styling one of my favorite actors, Michael B.  Jordan, say... for a high fashion photo shoot or edgy RED CARPET look. And even though I say hypothetically, that may or may not be too far out of reach ;-)

Back to the high fashion photo shoot. I do see that Michael is often photographed in suits, so I wouldn't stray too far from the norm, but I want to add a little more edge, a little more of what CREED would wear (that was such a good movie). Take a look at some of the pieces I've picked:

I can even style in a nice black bomber jacket, black turtleneck, red velvet fitted trousers, and black  loafers or wingtips.

High end fashion MEETS athletic. But what about what's going on under the clothes? A man can't model or take care of his business without good undergarments. There are so many underwear brands  out, seasoned and up-and-coming, there that can compliment looks like this. When looks are FITTED, BULK is not needed. There are form-fitting, figure-enhancing underwear brands ranging from Hanes to Dolce & Gabbana, to a cool brand I recently heard of called Tommy John (http://tommyjohn.com )  .

I would definitely have to plug my own products: BOWTIES! Michael would definitely rock my 'Vintage Ties By Jaiden' bowties so well... Think a black leather collared shirt with one of these.

Justin Bieber Sports A Phresh Exit from Bad-Boy Look With 'Girl Rocker' Look...

Searching through various sites to find some fashion inspiration or hit and misses, I spot Justin Bieber (photo'ed in Hollywood) on Upscale Hype in this sort of... pardon me... 'GIRL ROCKER' type of look here. The best way I can describe it. Justin wears a Nic Fouquet suede fedora hat, Fear Of God L.A. striped tank, BALMAIN jeans, and Saint Laurent bandanna shoes.

It looks executed in a sort-of not-so-executed way, as if these items were found laying around in Justin's bedroom and he's just going to the corner store for some eggs. Maybe that's the beauty in STYLE sometimes.

TYGA Wows Crowd Not Just for BET AWARDS Performance, But For His $3,000 Leather Shirt!

TYGA was sure noticeable not only for his performance at the 2012 BET Awards, but for what he wore there: a $3,000 Dior Homme Nappa leather shirt, BALMAIN wax jeans, and Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers. SHARP, SHARP, SHARP, and ILL.

KIMYE (Kanye West and Kim Kardashian) In Their Fashion, In Paris!!

Thoughts about the attire of KIMYE, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West?

Personally, I like their style. First off, Kim has the hourglass figure to make the dress look hott. I like the hue of the dress, very military-ish, as well as the boots (possibly BALMAIN, I'll find out). Also I've always liked when Kanye dressed up in this style: Wax jeans, jacket, T-shirt, and those crisp, white Balenciaga sneakers.

Kanye West In London Working Out In BALMAIN Hoodie, Then Steps Out In White-And-Black!

Kanye West was accompanying GF Kim Kardashian in London while she visited BBC Radio to promote a new line, and Kanye was spotted in his workout clothes, one item which was a BALMAIN hoodie for about $500, shorts, and Nike trainers.

Later that day, he stepped out in a SMOOOOTH white blazer, white shirt, black leather jeans, and black Italian loafers. The look on the left is a look to be worn on a night out with friends or with a woman, which is in this case, Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West In Qatar (HOT city) in Custom 'Unknown' Denim Jacket

Kanye West was in Qatar for filming for a short film, and he was wearing light colors (the shirt could be a little shorter), a good choice since Qatar is a hot city, and judging by the pic where Kanye is, it looks hot and muggy. So Kanye was wearing these YMC snakeskin shoes for $250, but the real focus is on his custom jacket, which I thought was really cool.

The jacket is probably a Levi's (on an inexpensive scale) or a Balmain (on an expensive scale) with cutouts and embroidery... it's just wayyyy cool.

KID CUDI Spotted At Movie Theatre In His Beloved BALMAIN

Kid Cudi loves his BALMAIN. BALMAIN is known for its exclusive garments that come with astronomical prices; if it wasn't made popular through popular culture and through music artists, it probably wouldn't be where it is today.

Kid cudi was spotted eating popcorn wearing his BALMAIN embellished button pea coat for a hefty $3,625. Fit of the coat is nice; PRICE is not. I could find something just as good for under $200 or even $100.

Rapper ASAP Rocky Rocks Huge BALMAIN Fur Jacket on BET's 106 & Park

FUR is making a comeback.

I have two fur coats, one a rabbit/mink blend, and one a beaver vest. But this one takes the case. I don't know who ASAP Rocky is, but I do now, now that I see this coat. The style may not be for everyone, probably not for me, but it's still BOSS.

The jacket is by BALMAIN (known for astronomically-priced garments), a raccoon-fur leather sleeve jacket for approximately $7,600. Whew. More than the cost of my car.

KANYE WEST Still Lookin' Best When Dressed Down In BALMAIN Hoodie

It takes the right amount of skill, pull, swagger, game, juice, whatever you want to call it... to look this GOOD while dressing down.

Many of us guys like to rock a hoodie with some jeans and sneakers an EFFORTLESS template to follow would be Kanye West. The way the clothes come together, each individual and unique item, such as Kanye's BALMAIN hoodie for $932, BALMAIN zip jeans, and fav 'broken-in' Nike Air Yeezy sneakers, is just DRESSED-DOWN PERFECTION.

Doesn't hurt to jazz it up with some wooden accessories and a SWEET velcro strap watch, whatever floats your boat.

If you kinda dress this way, then you're on the right track.

Scott 'KID CUDI' Mescudi's $8,600 BALMAIN VEST On 'Conan Show'!

Apparently, Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi was on the CONAN show (I'm guessing by the sign over Cudi's head); that's not what I'm focused on. What I'm actually focused on is the $8,500 BALMAIN vest that he's wearing!

Whoo, seriously these trends for big splurges on simple items really don't make any sense to me. Doesn't matter if one has LOOOOONG MONEY. $8,500 could DEFINITELY fill my entire wardrobe! Check another view of Kid Cudi's embellished BALMAIN vest (unisex version):

RIHANNA Nears End Of Grueling 10-Month/101-Date UK Tour; Wears Armani Jacket And Hair Back To BROWN

As time of post, Rihanna is nearing the end of her time-consuming and TIRING, 101-date LOUD UK tour, which is confirmed by some to be one of the most taxing tours ever done by measure of such artists like the Beatles, Madonna, and just a few others in modern music history.

Rihanna was also spotted looking every bit of a pop rock star with her unique Armani leather jacket (looks very RICK OWENS), denim shirt/stonewashed black jean combo, and her BACK-TO-BROWN curly locks (I wasn't feeling the crazy-looking blonde wig).

Nice to see her back and I wonder how her fashion sense will play out once she's done with her world tour by year-end; I remember the 2009 wait for her 'Rated R' album produced the most hard-edged fashion looks from designers RICK OWENS, BALMAIN, ALEXANDER VAUTHIER, and more.

2009-2010 WAS THE PEAK PERIOD OF RIHANNA'S FASHION SENSE. 2011 was lukewarm in terms of fashion sense but I hope she BRINGS IT for 2012.

Believe It Or Not.. But Hit-Maker DAVID GUETTA Was Wearing $2,000+ Worth Of Clothes, But Execution Made It Look THRIFT-STOREish!!

I just HATE it when perfectly good (and expensive) items are worn like pure TRASH. Check out hit-maker DAVID GUETTA, responsible for collabos with Usher, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and more artists, and his look above.

Does it look like David has on more than $2,000 worth of clothes?? But he does, ladies and gentlemen... he does.

David Guetta wore $1,200 BALMAIN jeans and Christian Louboutin Alfie flat sneakers for $995. Maybe up close and/or separately they would look nice, but here? With the scraggly hair and beard? Poor execution. UGH.

If David had pulled his hair back into a ponytail, wore a fitted black T-shirt, and gold aviator shades.... OHHHH WHAT A DIFFERENCE JUST A LIL' CHANGE MAKES!!!

Rihanna's $10,500 BALMAIN LEATHER JACKET, in London

As Rihanna continues her UK tour, her cold weather clothing choices starkly reminds me of her 2009 'Rated R', post- Chris Brown days. Remember when she came out so hard-nosed, edgy, vicious-looking with her fashion? I can see it seeping out of her now.

Check out the dark lipstick, BAAAAD shades, and the striking $10,500 BALMAIN jacket. BALMAIN is usually known for its astronomical pricing but super-premium materials. Rihanna's jacket is 100% leather and the fur comes from an entire raccoon hide.

I guess she's ballin', $29 MILLION WOULD BUY HER THAT, I GUESS...

Check out Kanye West at the 2012 Burberry Fashion Show women's line. Kanye is reportedly working on a collabo for a women's line for a high-end label, so we'll see...

KIM KARDASHIAN and FERGIE: Who Looks Better (That's a Hard One)?

This is the fashion that I call 'RISQUE STYLING'. Check out Kim Kardashian and singer Fergie, who had on different looks but very similar method and motive. Kim has on a bandaged silk dress, matching bodice, a tan studded coat, possibly by Burberry or BALMAIN. That was definitely PHOTOSHOOT-READY.

And Fergie was the STAR of the Teen Choice Awards, literally. She wore a... well, you can see the dress... NO NEED TO EXPLAIN... except I'm pointing out that Fergie wore studded Christian Louboutin heels for approximately $1,000.

SO WHO WORE THEIR LOOK BETTER, ALL-AROUND?

THE ONLY JAIDEN ANSWERS: KIM KARDASHIAN... with FERGIE at a close second.

Fashion House Shake-Up: Christophe Decarnin of BALMAIN Is Dropped!!

You ever hear of this brand that charges $1,600 for jeans, $11,000 for blazers, and upwards of $21,000 for trashy-looking gowns???

Only BALMAIN can do this, with very few luxury fashion houses following closely behind.

Guess what? Ever since John Galliano (designer) got fired from Christian [DIOR] recently for making an anti-Semitic remarks, star designers like Christophe Decarnin (BALMAIN) started getting dropped from fashion houses like DOMINOES; it's not clear why, but I'll look more into it. 

So what does it mean for BALMAIN in general?? Well the general population can't afford BALMAIN, but the popularity of the astronomical costs of the collection keep the fashion label on the radar, as well as its pricey clothes gracing celebrities like Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Sir Elton John, the late Michael Jackson, and especially Kanye West. It'll be interesting to see where BALMAIN goes.

KANYE WEST In All Red BALMAIN, In Lollapalooza (Chile)

So, Kanye West reportedly brought down the house and then lit it up by performing "All Of The Lights" in his bright red BALMAIN leather jacket and matching red jeans, and suede Louis Vuitton sneakers. He also brightened the look even more so by adding about 10 pounds of gold jewelry on his neck.

OMG, this man's fashion sense is THROUGH THE ROOF!

Me. Like. Too. Much.
