Sneaker of the Day: Christian Louboutin '20 Ans' Red Sneakers

Check these out, the new Christian Louboutin '20 Ans' red sneakers. I like the wording (you can see 'MIKA' and 'BOY' in it, don't know the connection but it's still cool) and I especially love RED sneakers. Red sneakers always provide a POP to otherwise basic clothing.

Sneaker of the Day: Pierre Balmain Gold Zip Sneakers

Saw these sneakers of Upscale Hype, and was just like... 'I gotta have those, well in a cheaper version.' These 'Lexis' sneakers, by Pierre Balmain, retail for $735 and feature a patent leather cap toe, suede leather, gold zip inserts, wax laces, and loads of leather on the insole.

Sneaker of the Day: Louis Vuitton 'Fastball' Hightop Sneakers, DOPENESS

This sneaker, the Louis Vuitton Fastball, was designed paying homage to the American tradition of leather varsity jackets and cloth patches. And it looks very much so with the 'LV' patch, sueded leather, leather cap toe, and an old-world/new-world feel. It's for a staggering $720. 'Staggering' as in, 'I can find sneakers like that for hundreds of dollars less.'

These can definitely be rocked with a great pair of denim jeans, whether crisp and worn-in, with a nice varsity jacket or vest!

I've got STUPID LOVE for these shoes I saw on BILLIDOLLARBABY on Tumblr. These are LANVIN python sneakers for $740. This can be worn with wax denim jeans and a white tee, or white jeans with a black tee.

Maaaan, if only SNEAKERS were food... just DELICIOUS!!

You know what... I was just talking about getting me some wingtips the other day. I'm a great fan of wingtips because of the elegance, old-world style, and timeless swag that wingtips embody. Now they are incorporated into wingtips and brogues.

I have such an unquenchable love for OREO shoes 'black/white shoes.' Check out these Trussardi 1911 suede/leather sneakers which has the old-world feel of wingtips at the toe and the design is carried up the rest of the sneaker, modernized with a white sneaker base.

Back in 2006, Mighty Crown collaborated with Nike Sportswear on the Nike Dunk High, creating a regal colorway of brown tones using their signature crown logo on the upper. It features just two basic materials (a soft nubuck and a shiny patent leather), but for 2011, they've taken the Dunk High to the very brink of customization. The asymmetrical material blocking on the upper adds a unique contrast to the tonal-black shoe, and you certainly need all fingers to count the number of different materials that make up the shoe. Elephant print, matte croc skin, glossy snake skin, ostrich skin, distressed suede, *catches breath* woodgrain, suede, smooth leather - the list goes on.

Sneaker of the Day: Supra Skytop 3 Sneakers

I love SUPRAS!! These are sneakers of the day for THE ONLY JAIDEN. The design is so simple yet captivating. It's not over-the-top, meaning it can be dressed up or down (the gray ones, not the blue ones below). The gray sneakers can be worn right with dark denim jeans and a T-shirt or Ralph Lauren polo shirt (gotta have the classics).

These shoes are UGLY--- but so doggone INTERESTING!!

Check out these hybrid Jeremy Scott and Adidas sneakers. Almost all the colors of the rainbow is present on the sneaker, including a lil' somethin' from the Safari.

Like I said, MUCH TOO UGLY, BUT MUCH TOO INTERESTING. Like it should just be a display.

These are indeed some SPACE-AGE looking shoes, but they're still cool.

Sneaker of the Day: Nike AIR PRESTO Makes Explosive Return to Shelves

Does anybody remember when these first came out?? Talk about early 2000s nostalgia. Check out the return of the NIKE PRESTO. They are described as sturdy in construction, yet very flexible and CRAZY COMFORTABLE... I would know, I had navy blue PRESTOs when I kickin' it in middle school (8th grade).

Nice to see this back...

I like the work that YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) is putting in on their material. It's a breath of fresh air, it's rugged, it's earthy.... It's just plain COOL. I came across Highsnobiety and spotted these YSL sneakers for this Spring's collection.

Sneaker of the Day: Car Shoe Suede Sneakers

...And we have another one! Check out these CAR SHOE grey suede sneakers that I found on Selectism. I really like sneakers like these because it's very versatile and can be worn with almost anything, even a suit (preferably a summer canvas suit).  I have 4 or 5 pairs of these kinds of shoes (Pro-Keds and Aldo) and I can wear them to work in the morning and then out to dinner with a blazer, later in the evening.

Weekend SPOTTER: Usher Chillin' In NYC + Katy Perry w/ Hubby Russell Brand

Both singers USHER and KATY PERRY were spotted over the weekend on two separate occasions, chillin' in COOL but EXPENSIVE COMFORT (yes, sometimes there's a high price to pay for comfort, literally).

Usher's blue sneakers were ILL (even ILLER, if worn right)! It's very OUTER SPACE and different; I like DIFFERENT! They're by Diet Butcher for $720 *Fist-bump to USHER*. He dressed it down just right with premium denim jeans and crew neck shirt.

And here's Katy Perry with hubby Russell Brand in her UBER-expensive CHANEL sweatsuit...
